A Maze in Steel

This saw blade has a 52” diameter and is 1/8” thick. First I draw my design with soapstone, like chalk it is easy to erase, until I get a design I like. Once I am happy with the design, I go over it with a permanent marker for steel. Now I am ready to proceed with my plasma cutter, which slices through steel like budda!

Dear Ralph,
You are an artiste beyond compare. Your metal sculptures are so intricately cut and I'm amazed at the mathematical skill you need to execute your creations.
Bravo,
Fredda
